I purchased a Ferrari F430 from Joe and I can say the service he provided was exceptional. The car was as described and Joe being thorough with his pre-inspections I couldn’t fault the car. Soon as I arrived we jumped straight into a test drive and without any pushy sales, I can genuinely say he was ensuring I was happy with the car. The car was superb all round and he went through the details of the service record in detail (I don’t think Ferrari could have put it better). Joe has provided great after care service also (not the typical I’ve sold the car it’s done thank you) he would always reply to a few general queries I would have (more or nothing me not knowing things). I would recommend Joseph Shaw to anyone, he has a fantastic approach to car sales and I have been on both sides of the coin with him. I bought an Audi R8 from Joe him last year and returned to sell it with him this year. Joe is a revelation when it comes to car sales – he does everything well. He’s honest, personable and takes personal responsibility every step of the way. Honesty and trust is a massive advantage when buying something of value (or selling), and when he gives his word, he sticks to it – not something you come across every day in the motor trade!! When I first arrived at Joe’s garage, the car I had arranged to test drive was parked outside ready to go. The appointment only basis thing, really does aid the time you’ve got to view the car and drive it at your leisure. Joe was more than accommodating with us and the car really spoke for itself. The car I purchased was a low mileage Porsche 911, compared to some of the other cars Joe had in stock, this was by no means anything special, but what made the appointment so enjoyable was Joe’s attention to detail and his product knowledge, giving us full assurance what we would be buying was a quality product. Living where I do, its normally the case I have to travel big distances to find a car I want. Joe was advertising what appeared to be an immaculate Mercedes ML. After a discussion with Joe, he had reassured me the car wasn’t going to disappoint and described it in as much detail as he could before I committed to buying the car with a small holding deposit. In the meantime, I had arranged for an independent mechanic to inspect the vehicle at Joe’s place before parting with the remainder of funds, this multi point inspection covers every aspect of a vehicle and gives a buyer total piece of mind, his report back was beyond what I expected, his words “absolutely faultless, although he could do with filling the tank for you!” Upon arrival, one immaculate car plus that tank of fuel. True gent!
I enquired about a Range Rover Autobiography that Joe had in stock back in January. Due to geographical reasons, I was relying on a very accurate description over the phone, as I didn’t want to waste my time or Joe’s time if the car wasn’t what I was after. Joe proceeded to give me a full detailed appraisal of the vehicle and forwarded a folder of extra pictures for me to browse via email. The vehicle was beyond expectations and was exactly as he had described “immaculate” in every sense of the word. I was offered very fair money for my part exchange and a deal was agreed over the phone. I purchased a Lamborghini from Joe nearly 12 months ago now. This purchase was my first dealing with Joe and most certainly won’t be the last, his easy going, helpful nature made it very easy for me. I part exchanged a Range Rover Sport with him, of which I was given a price I was happy with. The Lamborghini has been completely faultless from day one and exactly as Joe had described it to be. Dealing with Joe from the off was a refreshing change to the motor trade. He had a Porsche 911 Turbo in stock, which was the exact colour and specification I was after. Fussy customers who were made very happy….. We had been looking for a Porsche 911 for quite a while, and had travelled the lengths and breadths of Britain attempting to find one, with nice mileage, low owners and a proper service history. Joe had advertised a Porsche 911 Turbo S for sale at a very reasonable price (his theory of pricing stuff to sell appears to be true), having had conversations via email and phone call with Joe himself, it became apparent the car was ticking all of our boxes, so it was time to make the journey down to Cheshire. The car was presented exactly as Joe explained, immaculate, with just a handful of stone chips on the nose cone (fussy, we know!) the service history was all present with supporting invoices as well for every service visit. On the test drive, Joe was happy to let us both drive and make sure we were happy with the way it handled, within an hour the car was re-cleaned for us, whilst we taxed it, insured it, paid for it (of course) and we drove off!
